All Iowa Reads Book Discussion: The Quiet Librarian by Allen Eskens on May 11
Established in 2003, the purpose of All Iowa Reads is to foster a sense of unity through reading. Iowans are encouraged to come together in their communities to read and talk about a single book title in the same calendar year. Join the Sioux City Public Library for a discussion on this year's book, The Quiet Librarian by Allen Eskens.
Baby Storytime on May 16
Join us for 20-minute early literacy experience just for the little ones (babies ages 0-12 months and their families)! Babies learn and engage with rhymes, songs, books, and bounces. Feel free to bring a blanket for you and baby to sit on the floor together (chairs available). Comfy clothes suggested. Free parking on weekends.

Sioux City True Crime: A Century of Suspicion, Part 2 on April 25 and 28
Sioux City has never been short on secrets. From unsolved murders to headline-making trials, crime has shaped our community’s history for more than a century. Join Local History Librarian Specialist, Sarah Enright, as she uncovers one gripping case from each decade of the 20th century. This "Part 2" session will cover each remaining case that was not voted on in the fall sessions. If you missed Part 1 - do not fret! These cases stand on their own and require no prior knowledge.
