Sioux City True Crime – Stories Beneath the Stone: Cemetery Walks at Floyd Cemetery

Beneath the quiet stones of Floyd Cemetery lie stories of lives cut short, secrets buried deep, and crimes that shook Sioux City. Join Sarah, Local History Librarian Specialist, for a one-hour walking tour through the cemetery, where you’ll visit the gravesites of crime victims and hear the true stories behind the investigations and headlines. Each stop reveals a life lost—and a chapter of Sioux City’s past.
The tour will begin at the main entrance of Floyd Cemetery. This event is free and open to the public. It is recommended that attendees wear walking shoes and dress for outdoor weather.
There will be TWO chances to attend this walk: 10 am and 4 pm. Both walks will be the same presentation.
