First Fifty Pages Podcast with Leif Enger

1st Saturday Family Storytime: Penguin Parade on December 7
Waddle on down to the Library for a penguin-filled storytime! We will have books, songs and activities celebrating our favorite black and white, flightless birds! After storytime, stay for an adorable penguin craft.
Monday Matinee @ Morningside: December 2 at 1 pm
Look for a different movie every Monday at 1 pm through Memorial Day. December 2 Film: This movie, released in 2015, is a spooky take on the holidays inspired by an old folk legend. Look forward to festive frights!

Now through November 30, cast your vote to help select the next Sioux City Reads title. Copies of each book are available for check out at any Sioux City Public Library location.

Sharing books and stories is important to your child’s brain development. Join the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten challenge that brings you and your child closer together while developing their vocabulary and preparing them to become a stronger reader. Learn how to get started!
Each week on Tuesday at 11 am at the Perry Creek Library or Wednesday at 10:30 am at the Morningside Branch Library join us for a fun and interactive storytime for ages 0 through 5! Curious young minds experience the magic that stories offer, build vocabulary, and develop early literacy skills for future reading success!
