This talk will explain why it has become easier to create and spread misinformation and will introduce you to tools that help you evaluate news sources as well as review helpful fact-checking sites. It's the story of a Black teenager who is constantly switching between two worlds -- the poor, mostly Black neighborhood where she lives and the wealthy, mostly white prep school that she attends and her struggle to find her voice and stand up for what is right.
