This guided walking tour loops through the heart of downtown, beginning and ending at the Sioux City Public Library. It’s the most wonderful time of year - Book Sale Time! The Book Sale will run from April 23 through May 2. This year's location is the also the location used last year, the former Chuck E Cheese site at the Southern Hills Mall. Park on the Barnes & Noble side of the mall and use the outside door to enter. This used Book Sale is a Friends of the Sioux City Public Library fundraiser. Proceeds enrich public library service in Sioux City, funding children's summer reading initiative and providing books, recordings, online resources, and more!
On Saturday, April 11 from 1 to 3 pm, visit the Aalfs Downtown Library for a Seed Swap - Kickstart your garden with a visit to the Sioux City Public Library. We are giving away free flower seed packets to help our community bloom! Select up to 15 packets per person. Do you have seed to swap or share? Feel free to bring any seeds you’d like to share with members of the community.
