3 to Go Book Bundles!
September is Library Card Sign Up Month at the Sioux City Public Library, and this September the Library is launching 3 to Go, a new personalized book bundle service. Using 3 to Go, patrons or their children will receive three books hand-picked for them by Sioux City Public Librarians.
First Fifty Pages Podcast with Jodi Picoult
The newest episode of the Library's podcast features the one-and-only Jodi Picoult - the number one New York Times bestselling author of 29 novels. Sharing books and stories is important to your child’s brain development. Join the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten challenge that brings you and your child closer together while developing their vocabulary and preparing them to become a stronger reader. Learn how to get started!
Each week on Tuesday at 11 am at the Perry Creek Library or Wednesday at 10:30 am at the Morningside Branch Library join us for a fun and interactive storytime for ages 0 through 5! Curious young minds experience the magic that stories offer, build vocabulary, and develop early literacy skills for future reading success!
