Teen Crafternoon: Melted Crayon Art on June 11
Ever wondered what to do with broken or used crayons? We’ve got the perfect solution! Add heat and press to create beautiful, one-of-a-kind art! All supplies and snacks will be provided. Registration is required.
Summer Reading Celebration on June 9
Jump start your summer of fun at the Library! Sing and dance at the Family Karaoke Party, create a mini video game themed terrarium, meet Sioux City Explorers baseball players and Slider - their mascot, make a character for the Library's mural, and much more! LEGOs at the Library on June 5
LEGO builders unite! Kids ages 4 - 11 can use the Library’s LEGO collection and their imaginations to make cool creations while taking part in fun LEGO building challenges! Come anytime during this drop-in event.

Sharing books and stories is important to your child’s brain development. Join the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten challenge that brings you and your child closer together while developing their vocabulary and preparing them to become a stronger reader. Learn how to get started!
Each week on Tuesday at 11 am at the Perry Creek Library or Wednesday at 10:30 am at the Morningside Branch Library join us for a fun and interactive storytime for ages 0 through 5! Curious young minds experience the magic that stories offer, build vocabulary, and develop early literacy skills for future reading success!
