Look for a different movie every Monday at 1 pm! July 21st Film: This techno-drama was released in 1983 and centers around a young man who finds a back door into a military central computer in which reality is confused with game-playing, possibly starting World War III.
Trivia @ the Library: A Teen After-Hours Event on July 18
Show off your smarts at this after-hours, teens-only trivia night! Bring the squad and play as a team or form a group with other attendees. This event is free and open to teens ages 12-18. Prizes and snacks provided! Registration is required.
Intro to Gaming on July 17
Ready to level up? In this introduction to gaming we'll explore some of the basic concepts of video games and gaming. We'll review the benefits of gaming and take a look at some popular games and consoles, including Nintendo Switch, XBox, and VR headsets. We'll also demonstrate where to find free games and start playing! This talk is presented by Connections Area Agency on Aging and Senior Planet Partner Resources.
Board Game-a-Palooza on July 12
Pop into Aalfs Downtown Library for a relaxing afternoon of board games from the Library's new board game collection! A variety of popular board and card games - from classic family games to modern favorites - will be waiting for you! All ages and skill levels are welcome at this drop-in event.
