Library of Things at the Sioux City Public Library!
Starting July 1, the Sioux City Public Library will allow resident card holders to borrow from our new Library of Things! A Library of Things gives residents a chance to try something new without investing in it first and promotes sustainability in allowing residents access to seldomly used household items. The Library of Things collection at the Sioux City Public Library will provide new resources for residents to explore areas of interest, try out new leisure activities, and gain access to items where cost or storage space may be an obstacle.
Monday Matinee @ Morningside: September 22 at 1 pm
Look for a different movie every Monday at 1 pm! September 22nd Film: This 2023 movie (Rated R) is set in the 1960s and follows story of the headstrong Kathy who is drawn to Benny, a member of Midwestern motorcycle club, The Vandals. As the club transforms into a dangerous underworld of violence, Benny must choose between Kathy and his loyalty to the club.

Look for a different movie every Monday at 1 pm! September 15th Film: This 1987 movie (Rated PG) is a fairy-tale adventure comedy about a farm boy-turned-pirate who encounters numerous obstacles, enemies, and allies in his quest to be reunited with his one true love.
Trivia Night at Buffalo Alice on September 10
Come play pop culture trivia through the decades with Sioux City Public Library staff at Buffalo Alice on Wednesday, September 10 from 6:30-8:30pm! Play some trivia, win books, and learn more about the Sioux City Public Library.

Each week on Tuesday at 11 am at the Perry Creek Library or Wednesday at 10:30 am at the Morningside Branch Library join us for a fun and interactive storytime for ages 0 through 5! Curious young minds experience the magic that stories offer, build vocabulary, and develop early literacy skills for future reading success!
