Looking for something fun to do during Christmas break? Crafternoons at the Library have just what you need! The Maker Cart will be filled with supplies. Children, teens and their families are invited to join us in making the craft of the day, or they may choose to make their own creation using the Library’s wide variety of supplies and tools! All supplies will be provided.

The Sioux City Reads program, a community-based reading initiative where a book chosen by Sioux Cityans becomes the basis for a series of programs, discussions, and events; returns with a new title for 2024: Take What You Need by Idra Novey.
Book Club in a Bag Kits Now Available
Adult patrons who are interested in leading their own book clubs, who are looking for recommendations for a book club, or people who want to share the same book with friends, can now check out a Book Club in a Bag kit from the Sioux City Public Library!
1st Saturday Family Storytime: Let It Snow on December 2
Snow is scattering, friends are gathering! Join us December 2 for a snowy storytime featuring books, songs, and activities about SNOW! After storytime, we'll create our own magic snow to take home! All ages welcome. Free parking on weekends! Registration is required.
