Looking for something fun to do during Christmas break? Crafternoons at the Library have just what you need! The Maker Cart will be filled with supplies. Children, teens and their families are invited to join us in making the craft of the day, or they may choose to make their own creation using the Library’s wide variety of supplies and tools! All supplies will be provided.
In partnership with the Sioux City Art Center, the Sioux City Public Library is hosting three sewing events where community members can take part in the creation of the installation Razzle Dazzle with artist Amanda Browder! No experience is necessary. Materials will be provided.
The Sioux City Public Library will debut their new STEM cart and invite curious young minds to drop in anytime from 4-6pm at the Aalfs Downtown Library and try their hands at making a wiggle bot! Wiggle bots are lively little robots brought to life by an electric motor and a kid's imagination!
Join the Sioux City Public Library for Sioux City Reads, a new community-based reading initiative where Sioux Cityans are involved every step of the way – from book selection to attending programming and book discussions together.
