Thank You Book Sale Volunteers!
The Friends of the Sioux City Public Library Book Lovers Book Sale concluded on April 16 and was the largest book sale the Friends of the Sioux City Public Library has held. An estimated 100,000 volumes in 2,500+ very heavy boxes amassed from 3 years of donations were sorted, moved, and organized by our volunteers. This was a huge undertaking,

Sharing books and stories is important to your child’s brain development. Join the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten challenge that brings you and your child closer together while developing their vocabulary and preparing them to become a stronger reader. Learn how to get started!
Each week on Tuesday at 11 am at the Perry Creek Library or Wednesday at 10:30 am at the Morningside Branch Library join us for a fun and interactive storytime for ages 0 through 5! Curious young minds experience the magic that stories offer, build vocabulary, and develop early literacy skills for future reading success!
