Join Iowa PBS Staff and the Sioux City Public Library for a free reception on Tuesday, September 5 from 5 – 6:30 p.m. at the Aalfs Downtown Library. You can visit with Iowa PBS staff and learn more about Iconic Iowa, the local initiative connected to the new series Iconic America: Our Symbols and Stories with David Rubenstein.

Sharing books and stories is important to your child’s brain development. Join the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten challenge that brings you and your child closer together while developing their vocabulary and preparing them to become a stronger reader. Learn how to get started!
Each week on Tuesday at 11 am at the Perry Creek Library or Wednesday at 10:30 am at the Morningside Branch Library join us for a fun and interactive storytime for ages 0 through 5! Curious young minds experience the magic that stories offer, build vocabulary, and develop early literacy skills for future reading success!
