STEM Youth Events at the Library – January 25
Get registered for these STEM-themed events happening at the Aalfs Downtown Library on January 25 from 11 am to 12 noon! Ages 8-12 will use robotic building blocks to design and code on the Library’s iPad and ages 3-7 will have an imaginative journey with stories, beginning coding concepts, and the Library's Bee Bots!
Baby Storytime on January 25
For adult parents/caregivers and babies ages 0-12 months. Join us for a 20-minute early literacy experience just for the little ones! Babies learn and engage with rhymes, songs, books, and bounces. After Storytime, enjoy play and social time. Comfy clothes suggested. Feel free to bring a blanket for you and baby to sit on the floor together. Chairs are also available. Free parking on weekends.
Monday Matinee @ Morningside: January 13 at 1 pm
Look for a different movie every Monday at 1 pm through Memorial Day! January 13th Movie: This 2006 comedy-drama is about a newly-graduated journalist who takes a job at a well-known fashion magazine and finds herself at the mercy of the demanding editor.

Sharing books and stories is important to your child’s brain development. Join the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten challenge that brings you and your child closer together while developing their vocabulary and preparing them to become a stronger reader. Learn how to get started!
Each week on Tuesday at 11 am at the Perry Creek Library or Wednesday at 10:30 am at the Morningside Branch Library join us for a fun and interactive storytime for ages 0 through 5! Curious young minds experience the magic that stories offer, build vocabulary, and develop early literacy skills for future reading success!
