Bingo Cards:
Stop in to any Sioux City Public Library location and pick up a Bingo Reading Challenge card! Bring completed Bingo cards to the Upper Level desk at the Aalfs Downtown Library for a free book (*prizes are limited). Bingo cards are one of the many ways you can earn tickets on the Beanstack App towards prizes. Complete as many cards as you can between June 1 – July 31.
Adult Summer Reading Kickoff: Trivia Night at Buffalo Alice!
Wednesday, June 3 • Buffalo Alice (1022 4th Street) • 6:30 to 8:30 pm
Join the Sioux City Public Library for a night of trivia! Win books for prizes and learn more about the Adult Summer Reading program! Arrive early to get a table and play as a team or on your own. Trivia Night is free and open to the public. Food and beverages may be purchased from Buffalo Alice staff.

This guided walking tour loops through the heart of downtown, beginning and ending at the Sioux City Public Library. Along the way, you’ll visit the real locations where shocking crimes unfolded, uncovering the people, motives, and moments that left lasting marks on the community.

Intro to Gaming on July 17
Ready to level up? In this introduction to gaming we'll explore some of the basic concepts of video games and gaming. We'll review the benefits of gaming and take a look at some popular games and consoles, including Nintendo Switch, XBox, and VR headsets. We'll also demonstrate where to find free games and start playing! This talk is presented by Connections Area Agency on Aging and Senior Planet Partner Resources.
