This session explores a wide-ranging collection of local cases pulled from different decades of Sioux City history. Moving beyond a single theme or time period, the presentation examines murders, mysteries, and shocking crimes that either captivated the community or slowly disappeared from public memory. Some stories may be familiar, others almost forgotten, but each offers a glimpse into the violence, tragedy, and human drama that have woven through Sioux City across generations and the lasting impact these events left behind. Presented by Sarah, Local History Librarian Specialist with the Sioux City Public Library.
