October’s title is The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern.

The circus arrives without warning. No announcements precede it. It is simply there, when yesterday it was not. Within the black-and-white striped canvas tents is an utterly unique experience full of breathtaking amazements. It is called Le Cirque des Rêves, and it is only open at night.

Build healthy habits while developing a love of reading in children. Led by students from Briar Cliff University’s Exercise and Health Sciences program, each session blends storytime with simple movement activities such as hopping, jumping, balancing, and playful games.  

Arrive early to get a table and play as a team or on your own. Food and beverage may be purchased from Buffalo Alice staff.

When: Wednesday, September 23, 2026 from 6:30 – 8:30 pm
Who: Open to the Public — Free Admission (Buffalo Alice staff will be available if you wish to purchase food and drink)

Join us for a 20-minute early literacy experience just for the little ones! Babies learn and engage with rhymes, songs, books, and bounces. After Storytime, enjoy play and social time. Comfy clothes suggested. Feel free to bring a blanket for you and baby to sit on the floor together. Chairs are also available. Free parking on weekends.

When: 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Saturday of the month at 9:30 am (Next Storytime: Saturday, September 12)
Who: Babies 0 – 12 months and their caregivers

***If older children are also coming, please bring another caregiver to help them enjoy resources throughout the Library while you attend Baby Storytime.
