All Iowa Reads 2014 @ the Library

The Sioux City Public Library hosts a public discussion of Little Wolves by Thomas Maltman on Saturday, June 14. Little Wolves is the 2014 All Iowa Reads selection sponsored by the Iowa Center for the Book. Cate Sering, facilitator for the Library’s Open Book Club, will lead the discussion at 10 a.m. at The Wilbur Aalfs (Main) Library, 529 Pierce St., Sioux City. Explore this novel with other enthusiastic readers. All are welcome.

Set on the Minnesota prairie in the late 1980s, Little Wolves features the intertwining stories of a father mourning his son and a pastor’s wife intent on solving a mystery from her childhood.

The Sioux City Public Library has partnered with the Iowa Center for the Book since 2003 when All Iowa Reads was first introduced. The purpose of All Iowa Reads is to encourage Iowans statewide to read and talk about a single title in the same year.
